Design House Stockholm is a design brand with the vision to democratize design by serving as a premium publishing house for Scandinavian design – a true catalyst for creativity. The brand explores, refines, and expands the boundaries of what it defines as the natural resource of Scandinavian design. This work stands as an homage to creativity itself.

The term ‘Scandinavian’ is understood not in terms of geography or nationality, but as a philosophical and aesthetic perspective. Design House Stockholm distinguishes itself as a publisher of design, not a conventional producer, working with designers in much the same way as literary publishers work with authors. Designers are invited to submit their own ideas, rather than being commissioned to produce specific items. From these submissions, selected concepts are developed and brought into production.

The focus is on discovering and presenting products that introduce something new to their category – items with genuine personality and character. Design House Stockholm collaborates with both well-known and emerging designers, prioritizing the development of exceptional products over the promotion of famous names.
