Korbo baskets have been crafted by hand since 1922 in Sweden. Originally used by fishermen and farmers, these baskets are made using a unique, weld-free technique that ensures durability. The design has remained unchanged over the years.

In the early 2000s, after discovering an old basket in a fisherman’s shed, Korbo revived this near-lost craftsmanship. The company was founded in 2006, bringing back the original technique. The name "Korbo" combines the Swedish word for basket, "Korg," and the region of Bohuslän.

Today, Korbo continues to produce handwoven baskets, each signed by the craftsman. The company is also working with Swedish designers to expand its product line while staying true to its history.
