The Forest Collection is the result of a collaboration between Artek and Formafantasma, aiming to promote more diverse, wilder, and responsible uses of wood.
It introduces a new material choice called “wild birch,” proudly highlighting natural features like knots, insect trails, and color variations.
This initiative not only supports sustainable forest management in Finland but also celebrates the inherent beauty of natural imperfections.
Some of Artek’s most iconic pieces—such as Stool 60, Chair 66, Chair 69, and selected Aalto Tables and Benches—are reimagined in wild birch to maximize their environmental and aesthetic impact.
