The Forest Collection is a collaboration between Artek and design studio Formafantasma, aimed at promoting broader, wilder, and more responsible uses of wood.
It introduces “wild birch,” a wood selection that embraces the natural variations of birch—knots, insect trails, and colour shifts—celebrating the material’s honest beauty.
This initiative supports sustainable forestry in Finland while honoring the beauty of imperfection found in raw materials.
The collection includes beloved Artek classics like Stool 60, Chair 66, Chair 69, and a curated selection of Aalto Tables and Benches, aiming for the greatest possible positive impact.
