The Layout Armchair 232, designed by Julien Renault for HAY, blends innovative design with comfort, functionality, and circularity. The opening in the backrest enhances comfort while giving the chair a light and transparent expression.
The plywood seat adds natural warmth, while the sleek swivel four-star aluminium base provides stability and ease of movement.
All components can be fully disassembled, extending the chair’s lifespan and making maintenance or refurbishment simple. The shell is crafted from at least 96% post-consumer recycled plastic and comes in a wide range of colours.
The seat is available in various finishes, and the base comes in polished or powder-coated options.
