The Layout Armchair 223, designed by Julien Renault for HAY, blends innovative design with comfort, functionality, and circularity. The opening in the backrest enhances comfort while giving the chair a light and transparent expression.
The upholstered seat adds warmth and an inviting character, while the rounded wooden legs provide stability and timeless elegance.
All components can be fully disassembled to extend the chair’s lifespan and allow easy refurbishment. The shell is crafted from at least 96% post-consumer recycled plastic and is available in a wide range of colours.
The base is offered in different wood types, and the upholstered seat is available in a variety of fabrics and olive-leaf tanned leather options.
