Designed by Julien Renault for HAY, the Layout Armchair 233 combines innovative design with comfort, functionality, and circularity. The signature backrest opening enhances comfort while lending the chair a light and transparent expression. The upholstered seat adds warmth, while the four-star swivel base ensures stability and freedom of movement. All parts are fully disassemblable, extending the chair’s lifespan and allowing refurbishment. The shell is crafted from at least 96% post-consumer recycled plastic and offered in multiple colours. The aluminium base comes in polished or powder-coated finishes, with upholstery options in fabric or olive-leaf tanned leather. A versatile and sustainable seating solution ideal for both corporate and residential interiors.
