Designed by Julien Renault for HAY, the Layout Armchair 233 offers an innovative and flexible seating solution focused on comfort, functionality, and circularity. The opening in the backrest enhances comfort and gives the chair a light, transparent appearance.
The seat is upholstered for a warm, inviting look, while the four-star swivel base ensures stability and ease of movement. All components can be fully disassembled, enabling repairs and extending the chair’s lifespan.
The shell is made from at least 96% post-consumer recycled plastic and comes in a variety of colours. The aluminium base is available in polished or powder-coated finishes, with upholstery options in fabric or olive-leaf tanned leather.
