Paper Collective Poster Low Hum 50x70

Low Hum by Faroe Islands artist Jana Jonhardsdóttir explores the structure of plants as well as the movement of the ocean. The composition features large flowing forms in textural black ink and utilize the L-system theory of biologist Lindenmayer, a study that suggests organic forms are easy to identify yet grow more complex and detailed as they expand and combine. The resulting composition is soothing through its sense of movement, yet intricate and detailed.
