Type chair - Aluminium + Seat cushion Ochre [Ex-display]

Designed by Danish designer Jonas Trampedach, Type Chair’s name and aesthetics are derived from the perception of an archetypal chair. Type’s distinctively shaped back gives it a uniform sculptural expression that reinforces the chair’s sense of familiarity while retaining its own unique character. Made from a minimum of 60% recycled aluminium with a silicone coating, the chair merges craft with industrial processes to create a smooth, closed surface. Lightweight and stackable, Type’s functionality, simplicity, and homogeneous quality make it easy to integrate into a wide assortment of indoor and outdoor contexts.

Adding extra comfort and functionality to the Type Chair, the Type Cushion has a rectangular shape that fits the seat perfectly. The padded cushion features an anti-slip bottom to keep it securely in place. The fabric has a water-repellent finish and has a high UV resistance, meaning it is fade-resistant with good colour fastness properties. The cushions are available in different striped designs and can be used all year round.
