Cutter bench

The Cutter bench was originally designed for an exhibition called Walk the Plank. Here, inspired by the German Bauhaus movement, the idea of a slatted seat on a coherent frame came into life. The minimalist design is effortless in its expression and does well in most settings, inside as well as outside.

As the wood is untreated the surface will patinate and change colour over time into a beautiful silvery grey. To maintain untreated wood, it is a good idea to use sandpaper (grit 120-150) once or twice a year. Treat with Cura Oil Nature by Skagerak if you wish to preserve or intensify the original dark/golden/honey brown colour.
