The Layout Armchair 234, designed by Julien Renault for HAY, blends innovative design with comfort, functionality, and circularity. The opening in the backrest enhances comfort while giving the chair a light and transparent expression.
The upholstered seat and back add warmth and an inviting character, while the sleek swivel four-star aluminium base provides stability and ease of movement.
All components can be fully disassembled, extending the chair’s lifespan and making maintenance or refurbishment simple. The shell is crafted from at least 96% post-consumer recycled plastic and comes in a wide range of colours.
The aluminium base is available in different finishes, and the upholstered seat and back are offered in a variety of fabrics and olive-leaf tanned leather options.
